Met deze universele stuurrijtuigen kunnen locomotieven van de series Ge 4\/4 I, Ge 4\/4 II en Ge 4\/4 III op afstand worden bestuurd. De voertuigen, die zijn goedgekeurd voor 100 km\/u, hebben een lage vloerruimte tussen de draaistellen en een remventiel voor de bestuurder om de rem van de vacu\u00fcmtrein te bedienen; de auto&#8217;s zelf worden afgeremd met perslucht via een proportioneel ventiel. De wagen 1751 heeft een complete luchtdrukremuitrusting inclusief remventiel en is daarom ook geschikt voor de luchtgeremde wagenlaadtreinen in de Vereina. Vanaf 1999 gebruikte de RhB zeven NEVA-slingers met Ge 4\/4 II-locomotieven om de routes Landquart \u2013 Scuol-Tarasp en Scuol-Tarasp \u2013 Pontresina te exploiteren. Met de dienstregelingswijziging in december 2004 zijn de operationele plannen gewijzigd.
